Board of Management

Rudolf Colm has been a member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH since January, 2004. He is responsible for coordination of company activities in the Asia-Pacific region, for the corporate sector Purchasing and Logistics, as well as for Insurance. In addition, he carries responsibility for the regional subsidiary in Italy.

Rudolf Colm was born in Milan, Italy, on December 3, 1952. He is married and has one child. After high school graduation in 1971 (Abitur) he studied economics at the Bocconi University in Milan and completed his postgraduate studies with the academic degree of Dr. rer. oec. pol. In 1976, he began his professional career with Pirelli S.p.A. in Milan as assistant in strategic planning and economic analysis. From the beginning of 1980 until mid-1983, Colm headed the office for planning and controlling, finances, at AEG Telefunken S.p.A. in Milan.
