Media archives

The media archive contains audio-visual documentation of the multifaceted history of Bosch and its subsidiaries. It comprises around 150,000 historical photographs, including 10,000 glass negatives, 2,000 films ranging from historical 8-mm footage to modern DVD and around 500 recordings on records, tapes and CDs.
Of all the forms of communication, the audiovisual media (photo, film and sound) are the most direct means of communicating with people. Not only do they provide excerpts from Bosch’s company history, they also allow the spirit of an entire era to be relived. They can also be used for scientific research in areas such as industrialization, working environments or advertising.
